I am having a great time working from the model and painting with gouache. I am interested in creating works which are infused with energy and are expressive and free. I work intuitively with an immediate response to the figure.

'Bliss'

SOLD
There is something of the Old West in me that needs expression once in awhile. Cows have been a subject of mine that I often return to as I find comfort in the California hills and the livestock that call these hills home.

'Joe's Place'

Another chicken today. This fellow has some nice digs and is proud of it. I have a sense that I will paint a very large chicken one of these days, stay tuned.
